Whats funny is that Brockers played with NFL caliber talent, NFL caliber coaching, and most likely a NFL caliber S&C program and didnt perform ya think he is going to get better eh color me unimpressed.

This is just ignorant. One guy can't stop the run all by himself.

Maybe you don't like Poe. That's fine. You don't need to weaken your position by making ridiculous statements about him.

Yeah, he played NT in the 4-down sets, and DE in the 3-down sets according to the linked interview.

According to some, he's not a fit at NT.

If we draft him, he'll play DE, I'd bet.

Haloti Ngata is 6'4"/330 and plays quite a bit of DE. And Poe's combine numbers are comparable to if not better than Ngata's. He also reputedly has some pass rushing moves.

Brockers is 322, slower, and has a lot of work to do to develop pass rush skills, yet we're content putting him at DE?

    Good grief....Poe is a NFL NT. :bang2:
Yes, I know he played DE. He sucked there and miscast for sure.

    So DeCastro then?

He played DE? News to me. He was all over but primarily DT, so don't poop that brick just yet.

Yeah, all along I've said Poe's potential ability to play DE or NT would likely draw Ryan's interest. If they draft Poe I think both Poe and Ratliff will play some of both, with Poe's base position at DE. Can Ryan coach him up? Maybe, maybe not but the more salient question is does Ryan *think* he can coach Poe up. I bet the answer to that is a resounding yes.

IF we are drafting based on POTENTIAL then I'll take Poe over Brockers.

Brockers would play the DT position in stead of Ratliff.

Is there a 350 DE in the NFL?

One thing I noticed about Poe is that if he happens to be in a situation where he is in the backfield and it just so happens he has an unobstructed path to the guy with the ball, he has cat like quickness. We all know who the big cat was. Not saying he is him because Lett had it at the LOS too. Just a similarity I saw.

I like Poe's ability. But I dont' think he's very physical. In fact, I think he avoids contact.
