Can you think of ANY offensive players reacting like some of the defensive players have?

i cant imagine even ONE offensive player sayin "Im completely taken aback at the news, although it was a tough season, Jason always had us ready to play coming out of the coin toss, and his schemes always had us playing against the other teams weaknesses, and in a position to win ball games, he's one of the greatest to ever do it. im shocked."

i cant see those words coming out of any players mouths. can you?

wrong section. but yes I could easily see Romo and Witten saying this, minus the greatest to ever do it line.

Yes I could. Namely the QB and TE. They've been around him the longest.

Norv Turner was around Rivers for years. means nothing.

i dont think that Romo, after orchestrating comeback after comeback, and being denied the ability to run it more often AFTER Garrett found out how successful it was, would speak highly of Garrett in the Game planning sense.

more importantly can we get this thread moved??

I think a bigger question would be who would hire him as a HC?

    All of them would.

    That is what players do.

The players like Garrett FAR more than the fans currently do. The things he preaches and how he handles his business in general are 1st class--disregrading game-day stategy, but talking of him as a person.

So yes, there would be plenty in his corner.

I prefer that he ditch the OC job though.

The team battled back too many times this season for the players not to react this way

From a certain part of the fan base, sure. Wouldn't happen from the players. If they really felt this way, they would have quit on him.

Huh? I think Witten, Romo, Bryant and all of the leaders on offense really like and respect Garrett.

I also believe every player on this team admires how he handled Jerry Brown's death. Even Rob Ryan praised how he handled that.

that's your thoughts...but those offensive players love their coach as much. you think dez would stay quiet?

ryan was limited in his schemes and his defensive mind. he covered up for that with emotion, which sits well with players. so that's why you see those players speak up. and those players need to shut their mouth.

You are naive if you think the players would not care if he were fired after playing so hard for him this season. I get the hatred toward specific coaches, but unlike fans, the players tend to be loyal to coaches.

He took a step back in the class department by firing Ryan over the phone.

I would bet money you would hear some players say "I'm not shocked", though.
