Add any player in the league for a 3 year contract, who would it be?

    Rules -
Can't pick someone just to sabotage another team. (we are cloning the person)
If your choice is an offensive player, name the defensive player you would take and vice versa.

I would take Geno Atkins over any other player in the league for our roster currently, J.J. Watt is a very close seconc. (as you can tell I am all about the trenches).

    Ware/Atkins/Hatcher/Spencer ... :eek::eek::eek:

On offense I would take Adrian Peterson, although grabbing a blue chip OL is very tempting. Even as a huge Romo fan, Aaron Rodgers is tempting as well.. but Peterson gets the nod here for me. I am actually considering whether I would take Peterson over Atkins.. its such a difficult call for me.

Interested to see your guys opinions, should be a fun topic.

Offense = A.j. Green or Mike Iupati

Defense = Earl Thomas or Von Miller

Nothing beats superstar players that are so young.

offensively I'd take Calvin Johnson because of the nightmare he and Dez would be for opposing defenses

defensively I'd want a dominant middle force like Suh or Watt

Nah dude. Weddle is the best all around safety (FS or SS) in the NFL. I'd pick Jairus Byrd over Earl Thomas.

I'd take the highest rated offensive guard.

Oh yeah, Byrd is real good. But I don't know about the Weddle being a better all around player than Thomas.

    Aaron Rodgers.

    + 5 to 10 TDs
    - 5 to 10 Interceptions

    Difference between 8-8 and 12-4.

I am Romo's biggest supporter but I am leaning towards this. What Aaron Rodgers has done is simply ludicrous. And he's played behind a pretty crappy offensive line too. And the QB position is the position where a single player can make all the difference in the world. AP just had an all time rushing year. What did that get his team? Nothing. Calvin just broke single season yardage mark for a receiver. How did his team do? Blech. I understand that much of that has to do with the teams around them and they would be much more effective on our squad...

...you know what, I've changed my mind. Give me AP. I just think too much of Romo. LOL.

I've got one for you...Geno Atkins. Dude is just a beast. A beast I tell you. Dude plays inside and does what he does? Give me him over JJ Watt every day and twice on Sunday. This guy, paired with Ware, Spencer and Hatcher? Not even a debate about who has the best defensive line.
