The Bears have had a difficult time finding an Offensive Coordinator and now they have interviewed Mike Martz for the job on Friday. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/01/29/desperate-bears-interviewing-martz/ Then he flew to Nashville to meet with Jay Cutler. http://www.suntimes.com/sports/football/bears/2020578,martz-meets-cutler-tennessee-013010.article So say he get's the job in Chicago. Anyone think the Bears would look to trade for Roy Williams? (Of course Jerry still has to pay the $9 mil bonus to Roy that was guaranteed). Devin Hester is no longer the main returner in Chicago on Kicks. Earl Bennett has a much better return average for them in punt return department. And Johnny Knox and Daniel Manning took over the kick return duties. Knox was a big part of their offense last season as a rookie and he had 5 TD's for them so his touches will probably increase this season as their deep threat. Devin Aromashodu also came on for them as well. Roy has said many times in the past that he loves Martz so I think he may be open to the trade for a fresh start. I don't think he's in love with his role in Dallas or with Romo/Garrett either. The financials. That can always be worked out. Roy for Hester. Thoughts?
