I think the former Buffalo kicker is still out there, and his leg strength is stronger than Morten Andersen's at this time. Do we risk another heartbreaking situation this weekend with another rookie kicker?

We've been using a rookie kicker this year?

I thought we've been using a failed veteran becaus we were afraid to go with a rookie kicker.

If Steve Christie has anything left in the tank, his coach for 9 years (Bruce DeHaven) would know.

it's wierd, but the K we got, can't say his name right now, Scott Suisham? but anyways, Parcells said that he rated better than Todd France, we'll see how much that holds real soon

Martin Grammatica is available as well. I don't think he's even 30 yet. I hate him, but he can kick.

I started this same thread earlier in the week, before the rook got re-signed. Christie kicked 5 FGs in week 16 last year for the Giants. He keeps getting cut so I assume his kickoffs are the problem. Nevertheless, I'd feel much better with a vet on our sidelines.
