Thanks. I wouldn't be surprised to see Aboushi drafted in the 2nd round.
Dude....Aboushi was about to be my pick in the 4th. Hurt when he got selected. My ideal board was picked apart by ravenous wolves.
I wasn't crazy about my Giants draft either, but 3rd to last? Ouch. I agree the trade was stupid, I kinda did it just for the sake of trading the day before the draft. But you can't deny the talent I got. Mingo, Watson, and Slay all have ceilings through the rough and are positions of need for the Giants. Hell, all 3 could easily start day 1 for them. And Bostic could easily beat out Blackburn at MLB too. I would say middle of the pack is more where I belong.
Some have Teo in the teens. I had him at #20. I think McShay had him going 12th. So compared to some, I had him lower. Definitely not in rd 2 though.
He was rough on you, imo.
I had you right in the middle of the pack.
Giving up a 2014 3rd round pick killed your draft.
Mingo was drafted about where he is expected to go. He is small for the Giants scheme. They use bigger DEs.
Love the Watson pick at 58.
Not sure about Slay. He only started for 1 year and had some issues in run defense/tackling.
Bostic appears to have borderline speed.
In his defense, if you go by the draft value chart he made a pretty fair trade
RS gave up 1150
He gave up: 875+185+64= 1134....a 2014 3rd rounder is usually valued as a 2012 4th rounder.
As for Slay and Bostic, I kind of agree with you. That's what I put him in the middle of the pack.
But that's why we all have our own grades.
That's great stuff X.
