Per Archer on Twitter
I wouldn't expect him to go anywhere else.
Reliable, cheap, why look elsewhere?
you will have some gomers saying we could have saved a few bucks and tried a rookie or something. REALLY DUMB GOMERS.
Good move, the guy is excellent at his job

LP Ladoucuer has officially signed 5yr deal .. Deal is worth around $4 million as total package
Good move. Long snappers are no big deal until you don't have one and life is miserable.
Great, that's less than 1 million a year, which leaves me to wonder which poster on this site is about to post a new thread titled "Romo should take LP Ladoucuer's lead". :laugh2:
Take a blood pressure pill there Sgt. Carter. :
I'm raising my kids to learn how to long-snap. Man, that's an underrated job. $4M/year to mostly watch Cowboy games from one of the best seats in the house.
I get your point anyway.
Yeah except that it isn't 4M a year buddy.. What are you smoking? He will make that much if he sees all 5 years
Typo. $4M to watch the Cowboys for 5 years. Good gig.
He got robbed. Probably the best long snapper in the game, for years.
How do you judge whether someone is the best at that position?
Clearly LP is good, but how do you determine the quality of others skillset at the position?
.....Unless you were just joking.
Could be the best offseason move the team makes this year.
He just doesn't screw up.
I think they measure LS performance in terms of the number of 'bad snaps' over a course of years. Though I have no idea how the quantify a bad snap. The stat you always hear on LP is that he hasn't had a bad snap since 2000-and-forever.
What Hoof said. He just doesn't screw up. To me he has proved his worth and his being a top flight long snapper. I'll leave it to the PFF guys to rate where he stands among all the long snappers, okay?
The guy in my signature is not a happy Camper right now
