How about next years 3rd?
Ok. I'll take Preston Brown. ILB Louisville
There you go Risen
49ers are here for their last pick.
Ha! My guy is still available. Nervous for a while, my top 3 WR's went in a bunch.
Will make my pick in 10 minutes. It will take a 2015 2nd rounder to get me to move this pick.
Nope, not a WR anymore. I wanted the Clemson kid, Bruce Ellington, or Huff. Abbrederis is actually 3rd on my "imaginary board" right now though.
Nice pick I almost took Henderson at 121
Thanks to everyone for participating. Please review your team listing in the team by team selections thread. Make sure it is accurate. This is what people look at when grading.
When you have the time, review the grading section in the 2nd post in the mock draft thread and grade the classes. Send those grades to me.
I'll take grades until Friday and then hopefully get the report card posted by the end of the weekend.
Do not grade me well because I ran the mock. That's irrelevant. The grading is only for fun. I won't be offended if people hate my class.
Thanks again for running this whole thing
Who was everybody taking with their 5th pick?
As usual a great time and a great effort by Risen Star to coordinate the event.
Co sign. Excellent work once again.
If Hill or Sims would have been there I would have had to take them in the 5th round. Too much value even with Pederson on the roster.
Jeremy Hill RB LSU is probably the highest rated player I show available. Seattle just has zero need for a RB. Seastrunk was the top guy available for a long time and Carey was before him. RB was not a priority for the mockers.
My next five players (for the Seahawks) after Henderson were:
1. Jaylen Watkins CB Florida
2. Pierre Desir CB Lindenwood
3. Jared Abbrederis WR Wisconsin
4. Devin Street WR Pitt
5. DeAnthony Thomas RB/WR Oregon
I stayed away from RB because it's a deep class and Pettine likes versatile dlineman since he runs a hybrid defense. Probably would have went RB in the fifth though either Charles Sims, Andrews or Hill.
I noticed, nobody took the WR out of Colorado, Richardson. A lot of people think he's a pretty good talent. He's too small for me but it's hard to overlook that eye popping average of 40+ yards every time he scores. He definitely has some jets.
Jeremy Hill, De'Anthony Thomas, Charles Sims, James Gayle, Pierre Desir, Terrance Mitchell, Jared Abbrederis, Jaylen Watkins, Andre Williams, Chris Davis, Justin Ellis, Devonta Freeman, Ed Stinson, Lamin Barrow, Brett Smith, Aaron Lynch, Aaron Murray, George Uko, Jeoffrey Pagan, Ryan Grant, Arthur Lynch, Bryan Stork
He went to the Redskins at 98 or 99.
