IRVING — When a reporter asked coach Wade Phillips about the 18 penalties the Dallas Cowboys have committed through two games, the coach shot back with, “I don’t like your line of questioning.”

Some would argue the only line Phillips should be concerned with this week is the one that has failed to open holes for the team’s running backs.

A stronger rushing attack won’t guarantee the Cowboys a win this weekend at Houston, but an ineffective one could prove disastrous against a Texans squad that leads the league in scoring with an average of 32.0 points per game.
