    For a debuting show.

NBCs' Revolution - with the episodes put online for weeks on Hulu and NBCs own site pulled a monster 4.1 making it the highest rated drama debut in three years (since ABC's V, 5.2) and the highest rated NBC drama debut in 5 years (Bionic Woman, 5.7)... The TV market has changed alot since those debuts, this is far more impressive than either.

To compare to Foxs' longtime hit Bones - It debuted with a 2.3 rating last night.

    NBC is back!

    Nice.

Whatever happened to "V" anyway? Totally forgot about that show...

Both V and Bionic Woman (which really bombed) were cancelled.

Revolution's premiere was okay, but not that great IMO.

Agree, I see the ratings on this dropping quickly. I thought "the Event" had more staying power than this one.

I have to agree, I don't see how they keep the ratings. I've seen a lot better sci-fi shows that got cancelled.

I'm surprised it did so well. It didn't look very good from the previews.

It's amazing what passes for "good" numbers in this day and age. Compared to 20 years ago those rating numbers would have been an immediate cancellation.

The networks share keeps getting smaller and smaller each year; so its probably proportional anymore.

I remember when a show would get cancelled if it had a 25 share. Now that is a major hit.

Watch the Firefly series on Hulu or Netflix. 14 episodes of her.

If you are referring to Morena she's on the Showtime show Homeland.

25 share? I dont think a single show pulls that.

I have yet to watch it. I hope I don't like it and It end up like Alcatraz, The Event, and Heroes(although it did get bad towards the end).

One of my favorite shows. I've seen the entire series many times.

It's a good kind of pain though:)

I don't have Showtime but I caught one or two episodes during a free trial. It looked like an interesting show and she looked good. Also, it was pretty clear that she still wants me:D

I actually wasn't a big firefly fan. I was referring more to a lot of shows including The Event, Terra Nova, and V most recently. But Space, Above, and Beyond is probably the best show that didn't get the ratings(imo). But there are plenty more that I've seen better than this one. this show kind of reminded me of Jeremiah, a showtime series with Luke Perry and Malcolm Jamal Warner.

Space above and beyond had SO much potential; then fox put it up against 60 Minutes. Talk about doomed.

Sadly, the show will probably end up making no sense whatsoever. Magic (wand) drives that make fundamental principles of the natural world click on and off??

It might be interesting as long as the nature of the Mcguffin is unknown, but after the reveal -- the feet will be of clay. Poor clay too.

Of course, if it fails like Lost instead of Flash Forward, they'll be laughing all the way to the bank.
