He will be back for the Superbowl run. *Psst* deer antler spray
Next man up!
Microfracture is tough. Curious if he'll ever be able to come back.
let him go....
more like: "this is a stick-up, $10 mm and I'll sign my tender." Month's later....."My knee hurts". A few month's after that.."Can't play now and risk my future, but I'll be fresh and ready to sign with a new team for that long-term contract you wouldn't give me by January or February when I will be 100%"
According to Cowboys Break, his career could be over and there are even quality of Iife implications. I hope Spencer comes back strong whether he plays football again or not.
What happens with his salary? What a drag we could have signed any FA we wanted, especially with the way Selvie is playing, of course nobody could have predicted that, but oh well. It looks as if Spencer has played his last down for the Cowboys, damn shame because he was amazing last year too.
never easy with the Dallas Cowboys. *sigh*

Rough 2 days for Jordan Woy. Franchise players Henry Melton (Bears), Anthony Spencer (Cowboys) set for season-ending knee surgeries.
He gets paid.
Does the franchie tag makes any difference to comp picks? Because if we get another juicy 7th round pick for him I will be stoked.
It's really strange that he wasn't physically inspected before the team gave him another $10 mm. And then had 'minor' surgery a few month's later.
is it anything like baseball where insurance covers the salary? would it still hit the cap if (since) he is out for the season?
our cap does'nt go up by 10 mil next year. he is on a franchise tag so he is not included in next years cap
Now what are the options to back up selvie? For rotations sake?
Next man up! I wish Spencer a full recovery. I appreciate everything he's done for the Cowboys.
Always liked Spencer. Sad to hear this news
Right now, Spencer is not the better player. He's not even a player. In my book he is a has-been and never will be after his year of injury.
