Yeah, I'm sure most won't be pleased with this effort outside of the 1st rounder.

Just for grins here are some of the guys taken after Watkins in the 2nd round who might interest Cowboy fans:

    Trai Turner OG LSU

    Michael Schofield OT Michigan
Kony Ealy DE Missouri (taken 57th)
    Jimmie Ward S N Illinois (taken 58th)

Here are some of the guys taken after Sims in the 3rd round:

Dominique Easly (very next pick to Baltimore)
    Ja'Wuan James OT Tenn
    Prince Shembo LB ND

haha...I agree that our first pick is the winner, but the rest do lack something.....um, perhaps, BPA?

Love the first pick, obviously. And I like the Breeland pick. That is all.

I'm not sure how much they try to merge BPA with a team's actual needs.

Thanks, Mike. I was just about to do one of these myself with Frank Coyle's picks.

    I like the first pick.

I like Charles Sims but I think the other choices available would have been better for this team.

The only other pick I like is Shamar Stephen.

They're pretty much going by their own BPA rating system. Sims was their 78th rated played overall... And where was he chosen? 78th.

No, I don't think they choose a RB that early in the draft either.

Can't imagine any scenario where Breeland is there I the 7th.

I'm convinced that the Cowboys picks would be Ward and Easley in that scenario; however, I don't think either one will be available at those spots.

Disappointing if the draft turned out this way.
