Brandon Lloyd may not be the only receiver from the Rams whom the Patriots are targeting in free agency.

Tom Curran of explores the possibility that the Patriots could have an eye on Danny Amendola, a restricted free agent whom the Rams tendered at the second-round level.

If the Patriots are interested, they’d need to sign Amendola to an offer sheet and then, if the Rams chose not to match the offer, ship a second-round draft pick to St. Louis.

Amendola And Welker. LOL. There's a tandem that's likly not to strike fear in opponents. Til you end up on the receiving end of an L.

:laugh2: ain't that the truth. Although people should fear Welker by now as good as he's been. Isn't Amendola just like a poor man's Welker anyway? Why would you need two of them on the same team.

Welker is playing under the franchise tag, maybe this is a replacement idea given Welker's age and hit count

Don't they already have that in Julian Edelman?

Whats with wanting all the small WRs there?

belicheat is nothing if not stubborn. I truly in my heart believe they lost the super bowl this year due to Brady not having a good, viable vertical threat. They still don't get it. I hope they lose 2 or 3 more super bowls: preferrably to us!

They would be wise to give up one of their first round picks for Mike Wallace

They don't play the same position.

Having said that, I surprised they need a third slot guy.

Jordy Nelson wipes the floor with all of the Cowboys receivers. Just thought I would point that out. :D
