Pro Football Focus announced their top 101 graded players of the 2024 season, including the postseason.

Super Bowl 59 brought a close to the 2024 season, and before we move on to the excitement of free agency and the 2025 NFL Draft, let's reflect on some of the best individual performances of the year.

The PFF 101 highlights the top individual performances in 2024, regardless of position, and credits the best players of the season that was.

PFF remains a player evaluation site at its core, and the 101 is our chance to acknowledge and praise the best players from the 2024 season one last time before we look ahead to assembling rosters for the upcoming year.

Here is a quick reminder of our basic criteria:

This list is based solely on play in 2024. Past or future play is not accounted for. This isn't about class or talent; it's about performance throughout the 2024 NFL season.

This list is created with an “all positions are created equal” mantra. So, you won't see 32 quarterbacks heading the list, even though that is the game's most valuable position. Instead, we take a look at how players performed relative to what is expected from their position.

Unlike
PFF's awards, the 101 factors in the postseason, so some players who won PFF awards may find themselves jumped in the 101 by rivals who had a playoff run worthy of a change in ranking.
Micah Parsons received the 38th highest score of NFL players at all positions for the 2024 season, including playoffs.

38. EDGE Micah Parsons, Dallas Cowboys

A high ankle sprain sidelined Parsons for a month, but he returned in peak form, earning his fourth consecutive 91.0-plus PFF pass-rushing grade. Despite missing four games, the Cowboys‘ star edge rusher still finished third in the NFL with 14 sacks. His dominance was reflected in his 20.2% pass-rush win rate, which ranked top three among edge rushers with at least 100 pass-rush snaps.
Parsons with the 5th highest graded edge rusher for 2024 behind #2 Myles Garrett, #9 TJ Watt, #29 Jared Verse, #32 Trey Hendrickson, and #35 Nick Bosa.

Parsons is the only Cowboys player to make the top 101 list for 2024. For comparison the Giants and Rams have 2 players on the list, the Commanders and Packers have 3 players on the list, the 49ers have 5 players on the list, the Lions have 9 players on the list, and the Eagles have 11 players on the list.

I think he should be the highest paid defensive player in the league if he is #5 graded edge rusher.

I mean, someone else on the roster is the highest paid player in the league and he isn't close to #5 overall at his position.

11 Eagles on that list, 10.8% of the top 101. They will lose one, maybe two of those players. Maybe we can grab Milton Williams for 3 yrs/$36 million. Would be a great piece to a DT rotation. Keep Osi, sign Williams, draft DT with first pick, pray Mazi becomes a player.

Jordan Mailata being #3 overall is a reflection of the coaching the o-line receives. And the work ethic of the player too. We need that type of coaching.

Isn't him recording 180 snaps itself a stat?

I kid, though its true.

Agree with the 2nd line though.
I had to check but this was the first year he did not play every game (hence why he was top 3 DPOY voting each of his first 3 years).

Honestly if Milton Williams comes that cheap I'd sign him in a heartbeat and move on from OSA. They are pretty similar players.

I don't know how good he would be outside of a true four man rotation. I believe he never played more than 50% of the snaps in any game. I'd like to see Osa, Williams, and a #1 pick DT in a rotation, with Mazi mixed in. I don't believe Williams is a 75% of the snaps type of player. I could be wrong with the potential, but he has never done it in a season. Maybe being next to Jalen Carter unlocked him

Didn't Watt have a streak of 180+ snaps without recording a single stat?

This board would've imploded if that was Parsons

Yep last couple games and the playoff game was a complete no show. Although people said he was banged up. Not a peep outta this board.

Parsons is double and triple teamed far more often than watt and still a arguably has the same or better impact.

I still don’t get people. Micah is a model citizen off the field…. Is one of the hardest working players in the offfseaon in this team. Yet because he has a podcast people hate on him. It’s insane to me

PFF rates him at getting over $20 million per year. Likely somewhere between 12 and 20.

Fair point but he basically put up the same pressure numbers as OSA in fewer snaps. If he comes at half the price I would be all over it and go get a cheaper run player to complement him for 300 snaps a year.
