Tough place to start the season. Good luck tommorrow none the less guys.
I have to be a realist...
JJ - 124 yards 2 TD's
Bledsoe - 218 passing yards, 2 TD's
Witten - 8 catches 96 yards 1 TD
Defense - Allow 265 yards, 2 INT's, 1 fumble recovery. 1 Int. goes for a TD.
Cowboys 36, Chargers 5
Cortez kicks 12 field goals, and the Chargers get one sack of Drew Bledsoe for a safety.
Hope I am wrong but:
21-17 Big D.
24-17 Dallas Baby...
I have to be optimistic. I expect a better season this year than last but It's going to be tough to beat a AFC playoff team from last year on the road. I will be rooting for the upset. But I think the Chargers will pull this one out at home.
Hoping for a big day out of J. Jones, For FF purposes. Next week however he will reside on my bench.
Good luck guys.
I have to agree with HH, 21-17 Chargers. Maybe it will be the other way around, it wouldnt surprise me either way.
JJ runs for more yards than LT.
Our defense doesn't fold in the fourth and has three takeaways.
Our offensive line protects Bledsoe and is able to move Williams in the running game.
Payton returns to form handling the play calling responsibility and keeps them off balance the whole game utilizing what they give us.
Ware has two sacks and three hurries.
Cowboys 20 Chargers 13
they WILL be "young guns". right now they are probably young liabilities.
how many starters returning for a chargers team that went 12-4?
dallas road woes continue.... chargers win 24-13.
Returning most or all of your starters year after year is considered a liability these days. See our defense from 2003 to 2004.
I think Dallas wins a tight game. We are due for a win in the season opener...haven't had one so far this century.
Blednose gets blitzed all day long = 4 sacks, 2 lost fumbles.
Julius and A-Train score, plus a field goal.
Ware, Dat, Spears, Ferguson and the corners make big plays, but in general, the defense over-pursues, Ladanian runs wild - 200+ yards.
Chargers 28, Cowboys 17
The ONLY way the Cowboys WIN this game is if Romo comes in, at least by the 3rd.quarter(hopefully sooner!), and puts two TD's on the board.
Keyshawn goes ballistic after the game because he did not get many throws.
