"Yesterday was Friday, today is Saturday" - she's got another monster hit !!
Lousy but better than her previous one.
Hesus H Christ its befuddling what passes as music these days. De-evolution at its finest.
Best part of that was it brought back some memories of strolling down Venice Beach. Of course, this is after I realized this was a music video
Who is Rebecca Black? Never heard of her, the music sucks though.
There's always been trashy, popcorn music. This one is fairly inane though - even for that genre.
She made the worst song in history, "Friday" with brilliant lines such as "got to go downstairs, eat my cereal".... "front seat, back seat, which seat can I take?".... and of course, "yesterday was Thursday, today is Friday, tomorrow is Saturday and Sunday comes after...wards"
Seriously, I'm not screwing with you.
Aint my generation who make buffoons like her "famous".........
lol, really? Wow, such profound lyrics, I'm hooked....NOT!
Who's are her Parents? They obviously have enough money to rent music/video studios for her, 'cause she certainly didn't get here via talent.
I think this type type of music has always been around, it just wasn't at everyone's fingertips like it is in the high speed Internet era. Here is some sheer brilliance from the 80s that probably would have been on a par with this song today. It seems that "trainwreck bad" simply never goes out of style.
in the age of youtube you dont have to be good to get famous being awful works just as well
Youtube page views = Fame - Actual talent
Yep it's all about Youtube views!
She is famous for singing a terrible song, nobody thinks that this is good music.
Also, I'm pretty sure Saturday is meant to do the same thing...a bit of her poking fun at herself.
I wouldn't be surprised if she did it for money either, because she donated everything she made off of Friday to charity.
