RIP Capt. Newkirk!
I think it was Corporal. I erred!
I think I've seen every Family Feud he has ever done.
"And the answer is..."
He kissed a whole-lotta women on that show.
Interesting tidbit I found.
For those that don't know who Ray Combs was, he was the guy that took over hosting Family Feud after Richard Dawson. His death was a suicide. (hung himself with his bed sheet in a psychiatric hospital closet.)
He was one of the funniest guys on TV for so many years.
My favorite show of all time.......RIP Mr. Dawson.....
Something I did not know:
Colin Lionel Emm
November 20, 1932 in Gosport, Hampshire, England, UK
Thread needed a pic:
I adored him on Hogan's Heroes reruns and on Family Feud. So sad about this news.
LeBeau, Robert Clary is the last surviving cast member of Hogan's Heroes now. He was actually a concentration camp survivor and was never shown without long sleeves because of his camp tatoo.
RIP the Kissing Bandit as he was estimated to kiss at least 20K women on the show.
He ended up marrying one of them. He met his last wife in 1981 when she was 27, had a baby in 1990, and then married her in 1991-according to IMDB.
Great role for him on this.
Yeah as he quit kissing women on the second short lived run in the 1990s as he said that he made a commitment to his wife and daughter to never kiss a woman like he did during his first long-run. Indeed talk about commitment.
RIP to Mr. Dawson... always loved that guy...
I ran teleprompter for Ray Combs one time and he was a COLOSSAL d-bag...
"I don't do requests"
His quick wit and charm will be missed. Loved him on everything especially match game.
