over Peyton Manning (100.5 QB rating) for the season lead!
after this performance if Romo keeps it up there is no question that he will make the Pro-bowl and heck he might even start!!!
I called it.
Pro-Bowl is not what I have my sights set on.
If he continues with the completion percentages that he's been having thus far, he may go down as the best QB for the 06/07 season.
The dude has come a long way.
He'll enter the MVP discussion shortly. Seriously. He won't win it, not with missing six starts and considering the season LaDainian is having. But if you're tossing five, six or seven names out there, Romo's has to be in the mix at this point. Has to be.
I don't know how many times I said "Wow" today. Hopefully I say it a few more times in the Giants game in 10 days. The kid is unreal. Did we get lucky or what? I still can't believe how good he is, the throws he's making, especially when seeing the blitz, the guy is unreal.
What's ironic is that Parcells helped mold and make Romo. And it's Romo now, in turn, making Parcells.
Two months ago, fans and media were ready to roll Parcells out of town. Now that Romo's in charge, he looks like a Hall of Famer again.
Parcells and Romo are each the beneficiary and catalyst of their shared success.
the real 'Masterplan'
Remember when Madden said in the Seattle Monday Night pre-season game a year ago, that he spoke with Parcells not long after Parcells took the Cowboy job and he asked Parcells how long it would take him to win and Parcells said "It depends on the QB position".
That was prophetic I would say, wasn't it?
Romo's QB rating.
This is mind boggling.
I'm afraid some one is going to wake me from this dream.
I f anyone wakes me...I'm going to feed them to my gators.
This has the makings of a story book season.
Absolutely beyond anyone's expectations.
I sure hope he keeps it up next Sunday.
Why didn't he start in Jacksonville???
