“Give them credit,” Romo said. “That was a very good front we just played against. It felt eerily similar to the Minnesota game up in the dome in the playoffs, scheme-wise and a little bit with the way they were able to rush the passer.

“If you can rush the passer like that in this environment, it’s going to be a very tough place to play. You’re not going to be able to get to your progressions, and you’re not going to be able to get the ball to certain spots.”

I'm still wondering if he got out of there uninjured. He looked like he was hobbling onto the field towards the end.

Yes, their pressure got to Romo.

Early on Frailey nailed him and landed square on him, .. it must have felt like a Coke vending machine fell on you.

That would impact most any QB the rest of the game, physically and making him hurry to get rid of the ball.

No surprise here. The blueprint for beating our offense is to bring pressure. We don't make teams pay for it and until we do it won't stop.

I think this is exactly where our problem is. When teams blitz or get good pressure with their front 4 we have nothing to counter with. Teams have figured this out. We had 4 turn overs that should have lead to more points. I mean, as many yards as the D gave up, they did give us opportunities that we not capitalized on.

We need plays to counter blitz/pressure. Should be working on this every week.

That's the blueprint for beating every offense. If you can pressure the QB, the offense will suffer. Likewise, until our team starts putting some pressure on QBs, out D probably won't look much better.

If I only it was that simple. There are other teams believe it or not that make teams pay for being aggressive rushing the passer.

We rarely are one of those teams. We never run delay draws anymore. We rarely ever run screens. And our routes seem to take forever to develop.

    Romo..

Sit down and let Orton take a shot.

If this is how you feel..you need to be demoted.

    This is just another excuse.

His career is full of them.

Because Romo is a coach killer.

The next HC up will not hesitate the need when his job is on the line.

wrong. the saints on a regular basis beat it...the lions beat ours yesterday. I saw everyone coming and thought "here we go for a sack"...nope, screen dump off to bush for 20 million yards.

A check down will always beat the pass rush.

Incorrect a screen pass will beat a blitz. The lions were getting pressure with 4 guys a lot of the time.

Well, last week before the game, I tried to say that we struggle against teams who have dominating interior players. Teams that can create pressure from the interior give us problems. Detroit is that kind of team and we see the results.
