I just heard on Talkin' Cowboys that Hayden and Selvie are signed to 2 year deals.
is this forreal if so great news. If only hatcher was signed for a couple more years instead or ratliff smh
Is that right? I thought selvie was a one year deal.
I think hatcher is a big big big part of our dline success. He is a beast in the 4-3. If only he was in a 4-3 earlier in his career he would be a house hold name right now.
Based on the play of Free I think they did right by not listening to the critics who wanted him gone.
Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
He has played well. I was wrong.
Eh, I'm happy he's playing well but I still think keeping him was the wrong move at the time.
not if it is digital
That is what I read as well. Hayden is on a 2 yr deal while Selvie is signed only for the 2013 season.
All I can say is we as fans see so much coaches see a lot more. I don't think they keep him at all if they felt he could not produce. Evidently they had faith in his work ethic and character enough to stick with him.
Believe me I was not happy with Free play either I did feel he was capable of better play because we had seen better play from him in the past. Was the switch from the Right to the left then back something that hurt his progress I don't know.
Selvie is one year.
Both Hayden and Durant are signed to two year deals.
Hatcher may have also emerged as a vocal leader not just for the Dline or defense, but for the team. He's backing up his words with improved play. I like that.
People are get on Jerry over tagging Spencer, but how would you feel if the ink had just dried on a new long term deal for him.
we need to sign dez, jones, bailey and hatch this off season and if he is not signed for 2 yrs then we need to sign selvie
considering the alternative of losing money by cutting him , it was a very smart move to restructure his deal and keep him
Sick, I would have felt sick.
When they should be praising him for not giving into his demands for a long term deal.
I think a lot of us were wrong. I know I wanted him out of here.
