There’s a good reason for Tim Tebow to be rattled by the Broncos’ pursuit of Peyton Manning.

Per a source with knowledge of the dynamics in Denver, if the Broncos land Manning, Tebow most likely will be gone.

He wouldn’t be cut. He’d be traded. At while the number of potentially interested teams isn’t known, the next yard sale at Shad Khan’s house may include some oversized tarps.

Yes, we’re told that the Jaguars are in the mix to acquire Tebow via trade.

Tebow back in Florida would be HE** for those of us here who aren't fans of his.

The Tebow hysteria is just unbearable.

Tebow may have passed Derek Jeter as the most overrated player in sports.

LOL, I don't get why everyone hates Tebow so much.

No. Tebow is overhyped. He is also underrated. There is a difference.

    Well, duh.

You can't have Tim Tebow backing up Peyton Manning. You'd have to completely revamp your offense if he had to play.

I don't think so. If that were the case, why not be jealous of far better players?

I think it's just a case of a guy getting the hype his talent doesn't deserve. When you constantly have to hear about him everywhere you turn and you know he's a marginal talent at best, it gets annoying.

Kind of like Nascar and Dale Jr.

He may not be the most talented, but he finds ways to get the job done and win games. I would rather hear about someone like him gives his all with the limited abilities that he has than some unmotivated player that has all the talent in the world but only shows up to get a check.

Tebow was one of the greatest college players of all time. It's not like the guy has neve been good.

Tebow is a winner and a hard working , decent guy . He deserves much more respect than he gets . I am not saying that everyone has to be a fan , but he has busted his tail and should be respected . I wish some of the Cowoys had some of his traits .

    Derek Jeter?

I've always thought Jeter was a damn good player.

    Average over .300

    Multiple Gold Gloves

    3K hits.

    Bingo!

The Chicago game was a perfect example. Marion Barber gave the game away for the Bears yet all you heard the following week was about Tebow did it again. If you watched the game you know the win came inspite of Tebow.

Sure he's a decent guy but he's not the only decent guy there is.

As an NFL QB he is far below average - plain and simple.

Did he really deserve the gold glove - the last one he won?

This guy is the cheap hit king. Nobody who has ever played the game has more seeing eye groundball hits or bloops than Jeter. If he played anywhere other than NY he would have been an average player at best.

Jeter is the guy who has never been as good as his stats.

Derek Anderson had a single really good year as an NFL QB: It didn't make him a great QB, and it didn't generate the hype. Loads of really great college QBs do not make it in the NFL as well.

The level of hype he had coming in as a rookie certainly went overboard. Will Luck have anything like that this year? Probably not.

Tebow's a pretty good guy, and he puts his money where his mouth is, so he'd definitely got that going for him. But he's essentially been running in something like a modernized Single Wing offense.

It will be interesting to see if Denver really wants out though.

I dunno if he did or not. I haven't followed baseball in a couple of years.

I would find it awfully hard to believe he didn't earn any of them though.

This is just pure ridiculous hatred.

Anyone who can bloop their way into a .300+ average over the span of 15 or so years will bloop their way into the Hall of Fame.

You don't get to 3K by getting lucky.

He may not be what he once was right now but he was a damn good ball player for a good while and is likely one of the few clean players during that era.

And I'm not exactly sure how playing in New York makes his production look any better or worse. It is what it is.

I dunno even know what this even means or how it makes sense.

Hatred? Because I think the guy is overrated? You do know he has been voted the most overatted MLB player by his peers right? Is it hatred on their part also?

Throwing the hatred accusation out there sounds like a copout to me.
