Here we go.
I hope this isn't a surprise for anyone .
such a shock. However they could also be trolling to see what offers they can get.
No thought of going with Griffin over Luck?
Nah really? :lmao2:
For as good as Griffin is, Luck is as can't miss as it gets. He also fits the pocket passer mold a bit better.
So Manning is retiring?
No word yet . I feel like he will try to play .
Of course he will. Which means this is part of the smoke screen being established early.
Man, if Jerry Jones or Dan Snyder essentially made a statement like this prior to hiring a front office, our fan bases and the NFL media would be in a tizzy
That's kind of a given. Any team that wouldn't who had the chance would be ignorant
No. They're using the 1st pick on the best player.
Smart move. No brainer, really.
If the Colts know they want Luck already, can they sign him? If they can, do it!
What if he blows a knee between now and the draft?
Lol. No. NFL GMs don't give one single though of drafting Griffin over Luck. Only messageboard jockeys or fans of teams that are bitter about missing out on Luck and trying to soothe themselves by pretending that Griffin is in the same league as Luck.
Griffin will give you a few highlight games, a few games each year with your backup starting after being injured, and heartbreak.
Luck will get you Super Bowls.
*****. What the hell is with Skins fans and "smoke screens"? It's like its the only word you people know. Everytime anyone says anything, Skins fans claim it is a smokescreen.
Saying you will draft Luck is NOT a smokescreen. A smokescreen is saying you will do something when you have the intention of doing something differently in hopes no one ahead of you will take the guy you want. Smokescreen is meaningless in the context of a team drafting #1 overall.
Oh... and I hope your craptastic doormat franchise trades the farm for Griffin. He'll hold your franchise back teasing you with talent and being injured. Do it!
Then he is out for this year. What's the difference between signing him now and us drafting Lee? We knew Lee wouldn't be good his rookie season. Look at him now. I'd sign Luck and work with him every day. By the time the season starts he would be ready to step in as starter with full knowledge of the offense. Should he not blow out his knee before then.
