the Olympics were a ok TV success, but not better that Vancouver(ratings wise). ratings should have been higher if it wasnt for NBA games, Walking Dead, and negative reviews taking away its viewers. ok, so bob costas had a bad eye infection, thats no reason to change channels.

what i want to see is this. perhaps not the next summer or winter games, but probably after that, this should happen. the NHL has its 2 week break cause of the winter olympics.
the NBA should do the same when the winter olympics are around, take a 2 week break, then after the olympics are over, have the NBA all star game happen.

look what happened on the second thursday of the sochi games, the womens figure skating final was on TV(tape delay) and NBA basketball on TNT. it created a problem at my house, i watch the olympics, and my dad watched basketball that night. i didnt want that.

also major league baseball, golf, pro boxing should have a 2 week break during the summer olympics.
