Comparing anyone to Sterling Sharpe is a daring thing to do. Nevertheless, there has to be a good reason why Burden is seriously considered to be a first-round pick. Sterling Sharp was about 6'-0', 206, with great vision, quickness, good speed and strength to match. I wouldn't be surprised if Burden has as successful a career as Sharp, but such a comparison remains to be seen from any NFL rookie.

I would be pleased if the Cowboys see fit to make him their pick at #12 in the upcoming draft. Of course, they have plenty of other needs to be filled. Let's keep him in mind when draft day comes along. WR is one of our most needy positions, no doubt. I won't mind at all if he's our guy.

Burden is not Sterling Sharpe, in my opinion.
Burden is not yet a true x or guy who runs deep routes.
A better comparison is Debo Samuel. Burden catches a ton of short passes, hitches, screens, slants, anything to get the ball in his hands because he is a strong playmaker who gets enormous YAC.
 
Reminds me alot of Hines Ward from the Steelers. Nothing exactly flashy about him but comes to play hard.
That said in today’s passing league I think he’s mostly going to be resigned to a slot receiver in 11 personnel!
 
I have absolutely no factual reason for saying this, but I get major bust vibes from Burden. I don't know why. I just don't see anything special there.

I have watched his film and I don’t see anything special. Burden’s quarterback was terrible so I guess the board has given him a pass for his mediocre numbers. I keep hearing Deebo but he looks like a slower version of Turpin. I noticed as the combine is getting closer he is falling lower and lower in mock drafts. The combine will mean everything for Burden.
 
At the risk of being called a homer. I would take Matthew Golden over any WR other than Tet McMillan
 
Tet is close to perfect WR to pair with CeeDee. Dak is not the most accurate with his ball placement, so you need a guy with a big catch radius.
