Welcome to L.A. Steve!!!!!
Not official yet, but if it goes through.. good for Nash, and classy move by the Suns organization.
Ew. The Mavs offseason just went from bad to worse. Though I'm not real sure they were ever major players in this chase.
What happened to him? He looks deathly ill in that picture!
Good move for the Lakers.
Now lets see if they add Dwight.
Read the article again, bud.
The source is "sources" and it plainly says its not official yet because it can't be completed until July 11th, if there is a verbal agreement already.
Either way, like i said, the more important thing is its good for Nash to try and get a championship, and its a classy move by the Suns organization to decide to trade him somewhere they didn't want to in honor of his service to the team for so many years.
Wonder what number he will wear. Wilt was 13, pretty sure that number is retired. Has Steve ever worn a different number?
Don't think so since he's been in the NBA. Think he wore 11 in college though.
So the Lakers managed to get even older? Impressive
The Phillies of the NBA.
Who cares if they got older? They got alot better.
LMAO. Welcome to L.A. Steve!
Agreed. Howard watch now and other FA's.
Get even older if Nash recruits Hill. I think one of Jamison, Young, or Rush will sign too.
I could honestly care less if we get older as long as we get better. Sign Hill to vets minimum, sign Jamison to mini MLE, and resign Jordan Hill.
Steve Nash/Darius Johnson Odom
Kobe Bryant/Andrew Goudelock
Metta World Peace/Grant Hill
Pau Gasol/Antawn Jamison
Andrew Bynum/Jordan Hill
Still got plenty of youth with Bynum, Odom, Goudelock, and Hill.
I'm a diehard suns fan
I cannot Stress enough how perfect of a fit this is. For ALL parties.. The lakers and Nash.
Nash's strengths will be emphasized big time and his weaknesses will be masked.
Amazing fit-lakers will be dangerous
Love this move.
its a great move for the lakers, i think if they are able to get howard they will be the clear cut favorites if they stay healthy, howard is a much better help defender than bynum, and steve is going to need that back up since he isnt a very good defender, if they get howard, the lakers will be pretty close to unstoppable.
Na they weren't going to give him a long deal.
That's a stretch. They'll be really good but I don't think they will be the best team in the West.
