A-10. It's been called the Warthog, the Thunderbolt, the tank buster. Is it any of those?
Correct! Thunderbolt II is the official name; Warthog and Tankbuster are the unofficial names I was looking for.
I've heard Iron Cross, Lightning, and Devil's Cross, too.
Cool; those are news to me.
Either way, it's a very cool looking airplane.
Looked around a little. Never heard the phrase 'Go Ugly Early' in reference to ground support. The enemy called it the Devil's Cross.

Trivia: (1) The Giants gave up draft picks for Morton; how many draft picks did we get for Morton and who did we take with those picks?
(2) Zendejas was involved in an infamous game in '89; what was it called and why?
Bounty Bowl. Zendejas got drilled during a kickoff and IIRC suffered a concussion. Zendejas claimed Eagles coach Buddy Ryan offered up bounties on players when he was kicking for the Eagles. The strong circumstantial evidence caused Jimmy Johnson to accuse Ryan of putting a bounty on certain Cowboys players, with the former Eagle Zendejas being one of them.
These draft pick trivia questions are crazy hard.

2. He's the public announcer at Cowboys Stadium and former executive producer of the Dallas Cowboys Radio Network
I was almost certain of the first answer, but not knowing the second, I left it alone.
Well done to both of you!
Yes they can be.
Some of my questions are easier than others and I have no problem if folks google the answers. Lord knows I certainly don't have all these factoids memorized! We got two draft choices for Craig Morton. With the first we took Randy White (#2 overall, 1st rd, 1975) and with the second we took Jim Jensen (#40 overall, 2nd rd, 1976).
Given that White is a HOFer I'd say we got the better end of that deal!

(2) Also on this date in 1989, Jerry made a bold prediction about a Cowboy QB -- who was the QB and what did Jerry say?
(3) Finally, Erik Williams was lost for the remainder of the season because of something that happened on this date in 1994 -- what was it?
Jimmy was planning on benching Too Tall, snapping his consecutive games started streak (I don't know the number). After an outcry from fans, Jimmy decided to go ahead and start him.
Do not recall.
Williams was in a bad car accident.
This was something to do with Steve Walsh and how he would be the Cowboys QB for a gazillion years. Or something like that.
