These two teams always play close. Division rivals
LOL at Falcons coach, how do you give Brees the ball back?
They tried a FG to get within one point, was the right call. It was 3rd and very long.
I like the way NO is closing this one out and not sitting on the ball.
Sure, good luck stopping Brees. And it was a 50+ yards FG, those arent automatic.
Better chance at that and getting ball back than converting 3rd and 17(14)? Ryan was hammered on all three plays there
Wow. The Saints had a holding penalty while trying to kill the clock and get this: It didn't cost them the game.
I'm being facetious. Just FYI...
Now that's how you kill the clock
Atlanta would curb stomp us.
Cameron Jordan looks much better under Rob Ryan....Is Brees the greatest free agent pickup ever?
Falcon fans had given up long ago. Boo city here.
I can't believe ATL thinks the Georgia Dome is old enough to get replaced
They play their best vs division rival Saints.
They are 2-9.
Why do some of our fans always have to chum the waters saying other teams will stomp Dallas.
The Cowboys have played 11 games and have been stomped once.
They plated close games vs 4-5 teams already that are better than Atlanta.
Yep. New stadium already designed. Well they have 2 or 3 designs they will choose from.
I believe the cost will be about 1 billion & it will be downtown.
That certainly doesn't remind me of any team I follow.
I've seen enough of the saints to say they are a serious contender to go to the big game. The game against Seattle will be huge. They get home field advantage and no one is beating them in the dome.
You may be right. A few weeks ago I was thinking the Seahawks but NO is tough.
Since I hate the Hawks fine by me. Not a Saints fan either but they are the lesser of 2 evils.
I know this is old but what I think the Falcons were going to do is the same thing they did on the 4th and 1 game in 2011. Make the field goal, onside kick it and then if Saints recover, it gives the Saints a short field to score, but the they weren't going to use much clock.
The Falcons would of got the ball back with a minute and some change if all that happened.
