    Apr 5 - Media: Frank Glieber (b. 1934); Re-signed: Patrick Crayton (2007); Birthdays: Tony Banks (QB: 2001, b. 1973), Marv Bateman (P: 1972-1974, b. 1950), Les Shy (RB: 1966-1969, b. 1944), Charles Wright (DB: 1988, b. 1964).

Trivia: (1) Glieber provided the original color commentary on Cowboy Radio -- who was the original play-by-play radio announcer? (2) Bateman was a punter during his three years with the Cowboys, but he also kicked one extra point. When did it happen, who was the opponent and what was the final score?

Lundquist was a good guess, but the Cowboys first radio play-by-play guy was Bud Sherman.
