    Interesting how the writer is adding that Romo is trying to delay negotiations, hoping for team success and thereby demanding for more money at the end of the year.

    Perhaps it's true, but Romo has never struck me as a guy who is motivated by money. It's competition that drives him, not the almightly dollar.

    I believe it when Romo says he hasn't even thought about an extension and that he's focused on winning.

    If I recall correctly Romo counts for almost $17 million in cap space next year. Add that stupid $5 million penalty and it seems clear that the Boys need to do something.

    And of course the steady rumor that the Cap is not going up much for at least a couple of years.

    This is where the Rat extension hurts us. And the Witten one might as well.

    We need to find a way to spread out the cap hits long term.

    And of course Ware's extension is looming as well.
