At the Greenville SC Tea Party last night, via Palmetto Scoop, an estimated 3,000 people booed and heckled GOP Rep. Gresham Barrett, who supported both the trillion-dollar TARP and now supports the trillion-dollar porkulus package

    ........see Conservatives dont discriminate.............

I wonder if CNN or Garofolo will somehow fit this in on commentary........

General Electric CEO Jeffery Immelt, thought to be one of Keith Olbermann's biggest supporters, and NBC Universal President Jeff Zucker are reported to have called some of CNBC's on-air talent to a secret meeting at least if the The New York Post's Page Six column for April 16 has it right. The meeting was called to scold the cable yackers for being too harsh on the Obammessiah, with the duo ala Jeffs warning that CNBC is turning into "the Obama bashing network" and that the cable outlet is becoming "too conservative."

OK... now how did that lefty mantra go again? Doesn't it go that the media couldn't possibly be lefitwing because "the suits" that own the media are conservative corporate types? Once again it looks like the truth is a different animal than the leftist trope pretends.

For all those claiming this was some kind of Republican rally against Obama I hope they wake up this movement is more than simple party politics

Was not the only case of GOP being boo'd at the Tea party's

    from: http://michellemalkin.com/2009/04/19/the-janeane-garofalo-of-academia/
California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger booed at Sacramento Tea Party: White and Republican.

California GOP chairman Ron Nehring booed at Sacramento Tea Party: White and Republican.

Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman, Sens. Orrin Hatch, and Bob Bennett all booed at Salt Lake City Tea Party: White and Republican.

Rep. Gresham Barrett booed at Greenville SC Tea Party: White and Republican.

.....a big push by the left to cement the idea that Fox News was behind the Tea Parties.....remember it was CNBC's Rick Santelli that floated the idea, and it went from there..........

in comparing thinkers......Garofolo vrs. Pierson...there is no choice.

I'm not sure we need more Ivy league "intellectuals"---many of who have never had an outside the govt job. GW, Obama and virtually his entire admin are prime examples.....

These blue blood elitiest Intellectuals are the problem not the solution....they are the Moderate McCain Rhino's of the GOP....the "give" across the isle.

These stupid tea parties are still driven by partisan engineering. If these people weren't full of **** they'd have been having these protests for the past eight years, not the past four months.

These same people were outraged with the Bush bailout that cost us 750 billion and now they see it on an even larger scale. What is funny is liberals whined about Bush spending yet defend what Obama is doing spending at a rate never seen before? Bush and the republican killed themselves with their lack of fiscal discipline and it shows with majority democrats in both houses and the white house. Change was promised and the only change is twice as much spending and even deeper in debt. You want to think this is a conservative love feast be my guest but it is far from that as even Republican who supported the spending by Bush were being booed off the stage.
