I think they want to trade Orton for a draft pick. And that Garrett is probably not too thrilled with Orton's lack of enthusiasm about wanting to play football.
Give the guy a break for wanting to make a quick buck before he draws social security next year.
Weeden would be so much better than orton, if he chose to retire the Cowboys would not blink.
Orton is in Nirvana. lol.
We found our answer when romo retires in 2-3 years. Yes!!!!!
I can't think of LESS exciting news.
I expect we sign him. We like him, no one else does. I feel we've got a nice eye for qbs as we liked Dalton, Kap, and Wilson.
I cant tell apart the sarcasm and genuine excitement over this news, but if it saves us money or benefits our future (i.e acquisition of a draft pick etc.) I'm in favor of it.
Two years following we would be looking for another answer... because Weeden would be right behind him..
A lot of connections with Weeden and our new offense..... Should be a good signing & upgrade over Orton
Orton is seriously in doubt as far as returning.
Saw Weeden play early in the year and he ended up being benched shortly after that.
Not sure he's really what we need.
I'm confident Dallas is looking at QB in the draft..
but not before 4 or 5th rd.
Anyone else feel like this is just a little....I don't know, weird? Are we trading Orton? Just seing what Weeden has in case Romo gets hurt? Are we cutting Orton for Weeden to create salary cap space?
I can't tell if this is sarcasm.
Chutch is back!
Tom Brady aint walking through that door.
