The Cowboys are $21 million over the cap with many holes to fill. The coming offseason will be a complicatd one- so we walk you through the team's options as they try to make up for past mistakes and limit new ones. Though let's face it - they won't.

It's okay. Dead money doesn't matter. Extending old declining players to be cap compliant every year is actually a smart thing to do.

Stuff like that. ~Lewis Skolnick laugh~

IDK why people get all worked up over Fa anymore. Other than wes welker since the lockout there hasnt been a Fa to make any real impact on a new team. Why? because most teams are keeping their young FAs and releasing their aging more expensive players to make room for these younger players that are less expensive to sign. Well except Dallas lol. But proof is who was available all yr but because of how much they wanted nobody signed them. Semour and Kerry Rhodes both players still very productive but nobody wanted t pay their price.

Just more evidence the Jones have no clue in how to build a consistent winning football team.

Whoever Ted Madden is, he has no idea what it means to restructure a contract.

That's not a good analogy. There is no interest charged when you push money back. In fact, proportionally, you often end up with a smaller proportion of the cap spent if you push money forward than if you pay as you go.

Or is it evidence that you have no clue about the cap?

"Using credit cards" isn't what causes cap problems. Overspending and buying junk is.

    Refreshing that someone gets it.

Although most "junk" is only so retrospectively. Jerry does, however, seem to lack a philosophy aside from sign guys because you can't stand seeing them play elsewhere

What credit card do you have that doesn't charge interest or fee for use?

I have no clue about the cap. I just go by what's out there on Sundays and that hasn't been good since Jerry took control from Jimmy
