It's definitely two different accounts being presented. The article breaks down the gist of both.

The suit against Melton characterizes him as a spoiled millionaire football player.

The suit against the Bar characterizes them as racist, moneygrabbers.

If Jordan Woy really received a call about "making the situation go away" I think it only proves Melton's side.

Well, they probably wanted to settle the matter before lawsuits were brought forth. Which could be considered a shakedown or it could be what most folks do when dealing with celebs. I don't fault them for asking for a settlement prior to lawsuits.

Clearly Melton believes he was the victim in this situation. My thoughts on if Melton actually was the aggressor, he sure came out on the wrong end of that battle. lol

Not unusual to see a countersuit in a situation like this.

In an interview he said he was wearing a Santa hat because it was around Christmas. He claimed the guy who started it, a bouncer, was trying to show he could hang physically with a pro football player.

Melton asked the question "Who the Hell hits Santa?"

Let's see how this shakes down. Like most pro atheletes - he may have been thrown under the bus before all of the facts were presented. I have been guilty of doing that myself unfortunately. I hope this ends well for him now that he is here.

As is usually the case, the truth lies between those two points.

And people say some things in anger so I wouldn't be surprised if both sides are true.

Being a former bouncer and being a person who has been kicked out of a few bars while getting my *** whooped it will probably be hard for either side to prove their case. As a bouncer I had assult charges filed on me and they ended up being dropped for lack of evidence. I'm not saying its melton fault bru when you're in a bar and they ask you to leave the best thing to do is leave. Even if you're not in the wrong its your best option.

He was arrested and has been criminally charged, but it's a misdemeanor. Though it's definitely possible Goodell suspends him after the criminal case has been disposed.
