Mark Cuban pulled Mavs media credentials from ESPN reporters Marc Stein and Tim Macmahon. Both arent allowed in AAC. NBA is aware.

I've been a long time fan but I'm losing interest due to his political views and the fact that he's ruined the team since winning the championship in 2011, and now I'm not sure what to think about this.

Cuban turned me into a Spurs fan. I was hoping the Mavs would go 0-82 this year while Cuban goes bankrupt.

Cuban should stay out of politics, that's for sure. Talk about a quick way to alienate 50% of your fan base--regardless of what side you're on.
He's completely entitled to his views, of course. But most sports owners aren't super vocal about this stuff and certainly aren't seen on stage with in key moments of elections.

The ESPN thing was more of a protest about how every year the Mavs get so much less coverage than the East Coast teams. Even when the team has had one of the top 3-4 records on average for the last 15 years.
He has a great relationship with Stein and McMahon and told them ahead of time, from what I've heard.
His timing is terrible to make this protest though--as this is one of the worst starts by the Mavs in a very long time.

He pulled the credentials to get the story out that ESPN was taking former Mavs beat writers and employing them in other cities while using automated computer generated stories to cover the Mavs.
If happened in the Mavs home opener and Cuban wanted to shed light on it.
He's a big fan of Mark Stein and hates he's been pulled into covering LA teams and other stuff.

As to the rest, Dallas had the 2nd best record of any team of the last 15 years.
They were eventually going to suck and have to draft an elite talent or get lucky and land a free agent coup. The attempts failed, some miserably, some fortunately, and now they are badly in need of a top 3 draft pick.
Lots of Mavs fans hoping they lose 50+.

To Mark, Lebron and everybody else in the sports industry:

Sports is entertainment to me. I'm not interested in indoctrination. I neither want or need to be told what to think by somebody else. I've got my own set of values, thank you.

Can barely watch the Mavs. Got much love for them but the product is bad. The nba is set up where bad markets can't overtake the good ones. Super teams form in nice cities not Milwaukee or Utah ect
