Ok, we are always talking about our pet cats and posting our wishlist and mocks, but what player do you absolutely not want the Cowboys to draft?

For me, it would be Kirkpatrick. I simply do not envision him being a shutdown CB at the next level. I do envision him getting abused quite often. His best position will be at FS IMO.

Jenkins. The kid is just trouble and I don't want any part of it. I'd much rather have Minnifield or Gilmore.

I would be a little disappointed if we drafted Upshaw or Mercilus.

I agree that they shouldn't take Kirkpatrick in the 1st.

If had have to narrow it down to just 1 player, then I'll go with J. Jenkins. He has 2 strikes against him (height and character). At least Kirkpatrick can move to FS if he is too stiff at CB.

I really don't see much difference between players ranked between #14 and #32 except DeCastro, Glenn, and maybe Konz.

Trent Richardson, Justin Blackmon and Kendall Wright. I just don't want the FO to fall in love with these "WOW" guys which is easier said than done.

Michael Brockers. I don't see it.

I could be wrong of course, but I don't see the hype or the production.

I would also like to throw Devon Still in there. Haven't seen a lot of tape yet but I have heard from people close to PSU that his motor runs hot and cold. Not the type of guy I want on a defensive line.

I don't get it either...reminds me of Canty who is a good NFL player but not a top 10 draft pick type.

I like him from a measurables standpoint. He is just hard to evaluate cause he plays around so so much talent and he is young. Just hasn't played very much college football, not a lot to go on.

How would you rate him if he didn't have medical issues?

Ingram or Upshaw. It would be a wasted draft and our defense would be worse if we go with either of them.

I also don't want "any of the pass rushers" as some have said above because there are none. There is not a single starting pass rusher with a mid-first round grade. The best pass rushers will go 2nd or 3rd and will be situational players in the NFL.

Suprising, I see Kirkpatricks name coming up a lot.

I'd take him in the 1st round and not blink.

His medical issues don't really weigh into my opinion of him in general. IMO, I view him as a pretty solid 2nd round (back, back end of the 1st round pick at best) prospect. I think he's limited athletically. I wouldn't want him at #14 as Bunting is projecting.

I disagree with your evaluation. Whenever I've watched Lonz, he's been dominant. I think he's every bit the prospect the Pouncey boys were.

I agree on Brockers as well. I don't see all the hype around him for the position some experts are pegging him at. I wouldn't mind a gamble on him later on in the draft, but not round 1.

He's definitely a force at the POA; he's a mauler with a huge frame. I'm talking about him out in space and when pulling. I think he's a bit of a plodder and slow to get out when called for. I wouldn't want him at #14.

Do you think he'll test out better than the Pouncey boys?
