This isnt college ... you cant line up and say just get open. Dez could do that there. In the NFL everyone is good and to stand out you need to have talent ,smarts, and a tremendous work ethic. Too bad Dez only has 1, maybe 2 of those (talent and work ethic?). That's why i wouldn't have drafted him in the first place. *shrug*.

    In no particular order:
    Sean Lee
    Dez Bryant
    Jason Witten
    Tony Romo
    Tyron Smith

Having said that, if I'm building a team from scratch, Tyon Smith might be the only player I take with me.

Dez was a beast with Kitna throwing to him.

Orton has only thrown 3 TD's for Dallas, and he started one game.

I always liked Kitna. When he got hot, he could light it up; plus he had outstanding leadership skills.

But for perspective, here are his 2010 stats in almost 10 full games (9 3/4) with Dallas:

    2365 yards passing
    16 TDs
    12 INTs
    65% comp
    88.9 rating

    team record 4-6

Dez was a rookie that year, so was very clueless early in the year but was coming on strong by the time Romo went down in game 6 (Dallas was leading NY at the time).
Kitna locked in on Dez big time when he could with mixed results. He actually had a game with no catches.

He got to play 6 1/2 games with Kitna before fracturing his ankle in 4th qtr vs Indy.

    His stats were:
    336 yards
    5 TDs

Not to argue with you about Bailey being a "real football player", but the guy is money! He kept the Cowboys in some games that without him the record would be much worse.

Listen, I love Bailey but I just don't see any kicker being better than an every down football player. If he could kick 75+ yard FGs after a 3 and out from our 30, then yea he'd be better. It's just that baileys success is based off of Romo, Murray, the line, def TO, etc their production to even give hi a chance to be money. Kickers might not see a total of a minute played every game and I'm supposed to believe he's a better player than a positional player?! Again, love the dude, but in the overall scheme of things he's not even top 10.

Depends on if you take Melton into consideration or not. If so, then he probably makes the list in place of Fredbeard.
