Just for fun: Who is your top "I told you so" player? That player that not many people thought a lot of coming out in the draft but ended up blowing up.... Someone who, still gives you fits becasue we didn't draft him?

    Mine is:

Jordy Nelson - My number one by far was Jordy Nelson. Every week I have to be tormented by his highlights...... I threw a fit for Dallas to draft him

Patrick Peterson, Patrick Willis, or Andy Dalton work fine.

We would have had to trade up a little in the second round to get him, but Marcus McNeil in 2006.

Heck, we could have reached for him instead of taking Bobby Crapenter, and we'd have been better off.

Another guy I liked is Jamar Cheney. He's not a Patrick Willis or anything, but I hated to see him go to the Eagles.

I liked Matt Forte when he came out, but I never would have guessed he'd have the career he's had. I figured Mewelde Moore redux.

There are lots of other guys I liked based on the limited amount of college football I watch, but mostly I've been wrong about them.

They could have traded down for McNeil.

We've got two right here that we didn't draft but should have. Tony Romo and Miles Austin.

Mine, too. I knew he would be good. Everybody did, so that was no great reach. I also knew he would be a huge knucklehead, would be a burden to teams and end up with zero Superbowl rings. Nailed it.

Percy Harvin and Aaron Hernandez. I have a little bit of a Florida man-crush however.

Dalton maybe had a lot of detractors....not sure about the other two. The vast majority (esp with Peterson) like them, Hos.

I was a big Foster fan while he was in college. I can't believe he wasn't even picked.

As good as he is though I give the running scheme a lot of the credit.

That was one of the best RB classes in history. I'm sure you remember when we used to run regular updates on all of those guys. i think there are about 9-10 of them that are having pretty nice careers so far and several more that at least are still around.

    That was an epic class.

I didn't think I'd regret drafting Felix Jones, but I do.

I remember a few people saying Mike Hart out of Michigan would be the best of the bunch. They liked how much hart(no pun intended) he showed in college and how his leadership skills were unmatched. He would will his team to victory. Glad I never bought into that.

Steve Slaton was off to a pretty good start to his career. Unfortunately, injuries and sudden fumbling problems put an end to that.

    lol
    I forgot about those two.
Off the top of my head, here are a few from that class:
    D McFadden
    R Rice
    C Johnson
    J Charles
    A Foster
    J Forte
    R Mendenhal
    J Stewert
    F Jones
    R Torain
    K Smith
    J Forsett
    Choice
    Slaten

I'm sure I missed some...but that is sick.
And yes, there are a bunch on that list I would take over Felix, but nobody is perfect.
