I wouldn't trust Cortez to make any meaningful FG, but his kickoffs were themselves almost worth a roster spot. In our first game vs. the Eagles we enjoyed good field position most of the game, but Cortez kicking off for the Eagles means we'll more than likely be starting drives at our own 20-30 yard line. A longer field means fewer scoring opportunities. I still think we'll win fairly easily, I'm just saying we will miss Cortez' kickoff abilities, and the rookie kicker we brought in isn't guaranteed by any means to be an improvement on FGs. This game may very well come down to our ability to convert FGs, so i'll pray today that our kicker can step up to the challenge tomorrow night.
