I ponder this question constantly. Will T.O make it into the HoF? His production more than validates enshrining him in Canton but his off the field drama may cause electors to punish him.

    What is everyones take?

He should buy there seems to be a log jam of receivers trying to get in. It's sad but Hines Ward my get in before Owens.
Had Owens had the personality of a Fitz, Harrison or A. Johnson I think he would have past Rice in all time catagories.

    It's a shame if he doesn't.

On top of this what team will he go in as? 49er? I don't think the Eagles want to claim him.

Players don't go in on a team it's not like baseball. The hall focuses on honoring the player.

Oh absolutely. Take a look at his stats.

He never won a SB, however, WRs aren't measured by SBs.

He will. Should be first ballot to be honest, but might get the off-the-field punishment.

If Owens had that kind of attitude, he'd still be wearing #81 for the Cowboys today.

He'll get in but not on the first ballot.

I would take Harrison out of that list. And it is not just Owens personality that prevented him from catching up to Jerry Rice's records. Owens just doesn't have it any more. He can't produce. Same with Randy Moss. We should also give Rice some credit. He set that bar pretty darn high with the records he produced. It will be difficult for anyone to catch him.

Honestly I bet if Moss went to a pass-first team he would be producing now.

Of course. His work ethic will get him into the HOF -- not his attitude. That's all that matters.

Yes he will. He should go in first oppurtunity but he likely won't because the media morons will do their petty crap they like to do.
