I'm told that Jacksonville offered us the 16th and 49th pick for our 9th. We turned them down and they made the same offer to Washington and they accepted. Would you have taken the offer? There were an amazing number of guys that we suppossedly liked still on the board--so odds were very high that one or two would still be there at 16. Turns out that Castonzo, Amukamara, Cam Jordan, and others were there at 16. So was Tyron Smith = Costanzo + maybe Ras-I Dowling, Marvin Austin or Rodney Hudson or some other guy at 49? Plus we would have kept the 40th pick. I don't know. I'm happy with our pick, but curious if you all think maybe we should have taken a great trade offer.
