Hell no he can't.
Thank you, by the way.
Post the published polls to state your position! I want to see it!
I'll be waiting...
good article on the subject
hmm doesnt seem like an extreme minority to me
Provide links to these polls as well thanks
Here ya go Riggo. You and gfunk both answer me this riddle.
Redskin? What is the origin of the word? Where did it come from? What was the intent of the word?
Same as the N-word, it was a disparaging sleight of an entire race of people.
The fact that some people are not offended doesn't mean it isn't meant to be offensive and has been from the beginning of it's use in the English langauge.
The origin of the word guys. Post a link and back up your claims.
These guys seem more than a little offended.
By the way, they don't seem to think Redsk*n is a harmless term.
yeah, I went too far
and to think that a governing body, who represent the people, find Redskin a disparaging remark
From that site:
again, why is it that non-native americans are speaking for native americans? can't they speak for themselves?
how in the world is that simple point 'grasping at straws'?
I need to take a nap, as I just finished a 15 mile bicycle ride in the mountains about an hour ago...
So, when these knuckle heads come back with the answer to your questions, wake me up, OK, Hostile?
how many Native-Americans do you see in Government positions?
They DO speak for themselves! Look at the post above yours... are you blind?
Root for your team all you want... but your name is racist. Time to face the facts. Live with it if you want, but don't deny it... it's impossible.
waiting for links gfunk and riggo, dont let us down
They've been routed like Custer at Little Big Horn. :shootfoot
LMAO Even the redskins HTTR fight song used to have the words "scalp em" in it until they figured out how racist they were being and changed it
Gfunk - you were correcting spelling earlier, so thought I would help you out. The stereotypical rope would be wrapped around their waist, and your team would be the correct use of the word "waste".
