the b-side to devil in disguise...this is really a fun song and a dynamite single 1-2 punch.
devil would reach #3 on the us charts and easily go gold.
the b-side is one of his better songs from this period...very under-rated.

this album woulda been a refreshing reminder in the midst of the wilderness...the endless string of soundtrack albums.
when given something to sink his teeth into...he would/could easily arise to any occassion.
too bad this album wouldn't see the light of day til the 90s...on the cd...the lost album.

the guitar man sessions in '67 should've brought forth an album.
combined with the non-gospel songs recorded in '66...a 12 track LP easily could've been put together and rivaled anything in the Elvis catalog.

guitar man and big boss man should've been released as a single...like hound dog/dont be cruel and little sister/his latest flame.
      combined...it would've made a dynamite pairing.
apart they are a hint to anyone paying attention.
his musical soul was being fed...and his love of and for music was being re-kindled.
      changes were a comin'

it wasnt just his loyal legion that had grown up with him who came to the concerts.
      they were bringing their kids.
and a younger generation who were curious...who would be won over and become full fledged members of The King's Court.
