Not 28 but the last two offers at 32/33 and a team friendly 6yrs etc yes he should...He aint taking less now the cap is gonna jump significantly in two years.....
Why didn't Troy, Emmitt, Romo, D-Law and Zeke take less? Why didn't they give the team a discount?
Oooh, but Dak all of a sudden should?
Not that I agree with Dak requesting top pay, but how can one player demand that of Dak when they didn't do that themselves?
Skip Bayless makes some real valid points. Say what you want about the guy. He's killing Sharpe in this argument.

Time to draft a QB. That's all I have to say. Doesn't matter if Dak re-signs or not draft a QB.

Hypocrites as well.As great as Emmitt was, he should be the last person to question any player for wanting to get as much money as they can get. Emmitt in the last year of a contract sat out of camp and the 1dt 2 games until the Cowboys gave him a new contract which incidentally made him the highest paid running back in the NFL.
Then Skip kept comparing Brady's last couple of contracts that came about after already putting in 14 season in and the accumulative amount of money he's made and how he didn't need any more money to Prescott who is coming off his rookie contract and what money he's made thus far. Skip and some here sound like socialists that are opposed to anyone that want to make as much money as they can.

Agree with you on this but the only argument I can think of for Troy and Emmitt is that they won SBs and Emmitt was the leading rusher twice before he held out I believe. The other three don't have a reason. Why didn't Troy, Emmitt, Romo, D-Law and Zeke take less? Why didn't they give the team a discount?

Dak has earned the money and has every right to take it . What it comes down to is by giving the team a discount so they can acquire more talent and have a better chance of winning a championship do you really serve yourself better in the long run .
Brady thought so he wanted to win more SBs than any other QB and he did it and Im betting after a long successful career he probably has enough money to be comfortable .
But what do the SBs really do for him after football . Would the extra 5 to 10 million a year for ten yrs be more beneficial to him , Couple more houses boat as big as Jerrys or what ever obviously not in his mind .
Brady wanted the distinction of doing what nobody else had done and he got it . Not every player rates their success on championships some look at the money first and if they get the championship all the better .
Depends on the player some look at it as employment and get there satisfaction from making the most they can and providing for their family in the best way possible . We as fans want championships players families want lifetime security .
To give a discount or not is a decision Dak has to make but there is no wrong answer it just depends on what is your priority
