Is it official yet or are player vote still pending?
Signing players free agents deciding who to keep. To me it’s about the front office. Has nothing to do with the coaching staff ability to see what they produce on the field. I don’t put that in the same category so.
Think I’m a Cowboys fan forum for over 10 seasons if I have learned anything about this franchise. The salary cap was never an issue. They always found a way to push it forward. They always found a way to get the player they wanted. The point is they don’t want the high price leftover free agent. This is a young man’s game. You can keep those prima donnas in my opinion. Give me a bunch of football players like San Francisco and I will teach them to Play as one and be great. That’s how you build a team in my opinion. With the football players. The problem is finding those guys. And then it’s up to the coaching staff to put the right scheme in place that matches your players best. That’s what we’ve been working. Not Prescott it’s not Elliot it’s not Jalen Smith. It’s the coaching staff that sucked. Worst special teams in the league.Go on I’m not sure many people can comprehend. With the true issue is
I agree. The staff has to coach these players up and make game time adjustments. They may have preferences of who they want to keep and MM should have the power to say hey I don’t want this FA back so don’t bother working to keep him. But in the end this is a big offseason for the FO to navigate. They had a good start with getting a good HC and staff.
HC has been the same over the years. He had the players believing but when you get to the playoffs it’s takes a team effort and that includes coaching. We were out coached so many times it’s not even funny. The FO needs to stay young in this team. Our O-Line won’t hold up forever. If Dak and the FO can ever come to a agreement that would be great. We need only game pressure around this team. No bs in the locker room. Focus on the team. Get us a descent ST. A better Defense and keep grinding on Offense.
It surprises me the amount of people don’t realize the simple basics.
If we had better coaching last year then we make the playoffs. If we had a better ST last year then we make the playoffs. Didn’t matter much because once we got there we would have been out coached. Lol. At least now we have a better chance. We will see a better Offense this year.

I’m guilty of that myself sometimes. But I know who to repeat after LOL. You can tell who has integrity who has an agenda or not. You’re one of the more intelligent ones my cowboy brother. I myself am an individual. I don’t follow the crowd. I appreciate a difference of opinion. I don’t appreciate when there’s an agenda of a an opinion. People aren’t even willing to think about something other than what’s in their own mindThat is life in general actually. Most people will not do their own research, nor even a quick google. They repeat what they read and hear, and as all drama goes, the story get twisted, stuff added, removed. Mostly because of ones personal views on the subject / person views / agenda (if they have one).
Then they just repeat it, and move on.
I seen it and still see it all the time.
And that doesn't count on here as often as it happens.
I think we had to travel 70 yards on average every time we started the drive. That’s a big difference at least 30 yards compared to other teams. I don’t know why people didn’t realize how bad our special teams were. I think it’s the first place I want to fix
It was the worst I have ever seen on this team. And the staff just let it go most all season before they even changed the kicker. That alone was enough to take out the HC.
its all about the draft. with the new salaries, specially at QB, its all about the draft and taking advantage of your talent in the first 4 or 5 years. unfortunately our past two drafts have been dismal. thus we ended up dipping into FA market. it puts us a couple of years behind since we have not been able to fill a few holes and now due to impending FAs of our own, will have more holes to fill. its the mess Jerry has created.
