Why even bother with a soon to be 31 year old corner if you're not interested in winning now?

I think he'd be a decent signing at the right price but my gut tells me this is just window dressing BS like previous years where we were linked to some big names for PR purposes only.

Stop gap player?
So they do not have to spend a top pick on a CB. Draft one later and develop?

They feel they have Awuzie and Lewis, and if they resign Brown, for say a 2 year deal.

Does anyone think this has legs? We all know MM spent a ton resources on DB position during his Packer tenure. Harris could be a good replacement for BJ at the right price.

The noon bells chimed at the league’s New York offices on Monday, signalling the official end of many players’ contracts. With a single clock tick, any and all interested teams were instantly within their rights to reach out to free agents from other organizations to begin wooing them to new cities.

I don't think we're legit contenders for his services.

Bradberry will likely go to the Skins. Jones to the Jets or Raiders. Bills have a solid defense and Harris would be great across from White.

I think it's just smoke.

I could see Harris being the type of guy they look at to replace Jones. Older, short term money. However right now, Harris is a definite downgrade

He turned down a three year, 36 million dollar deal with Denver. So hes looking for about 13 per year sadly

If there guarentees are small, I could see Dallas looking at him. I dont think the AAV is a concern as much as the guarenteed money

This is the first that any of you have heard about this.

no it's definitely not the first ... but it's hard to take serious with the way Stephen likes to front and low ball the dollars sometimes in vet Free Agency.

Only the Sammy Watkins deal was the last time I can remember the Cowboys really selling out to get a very high priced vet FA.
FA bust DT Cedric Thorton was only a minor pursuit.
