if we sign digs and chris harris...I can live with not keeping Jones and Coop. But we better resign Quinn.

yes these are the little things, they also let him play with no contract ext. and since he did really good increased his value.
People said back then that amari was a great move , and better than drafting a rd 1 wr, but what they didnt think about,
is a rookie wr gives you 4 years cheap, amari was 1 1/2 years cheap.
And as usual jones boys wait way too long to get him signed, and now here we are lol.

Other teams can make offers now, so we find out if he really wants to play for dallas or not.
I guess B jones can talk to other teams now too.

Jones boys tend to ad lib all their moves, and they dont have a team wide focus, they tend to focus on certain areas,
and then just ignore other areas where there could be good moves to make , like the campbell thing.
They should be talking to MM and getting his opinion on some things like FA and draft, I mean at least get his opinion and go from there.
It seems to me this is not what is happening.

I really am an idiot.

Every year I convince myself that this will be different in FA.......... that we may spend a little money this time, really try to fix a couple of holes and have a more complete roster. And every year I get a smack to the nose.

But this year, man, we have the ability to sign a couple of our own and maybe grab an impact or upgrade at some positions from outside the organization.

I am such a fool.

You just haven't had all that hopeful stuff beaten out of you yet. But skipping the expensive 1st round of FA is Stephens M/O the last few years.

I feel you man, however its only monday and there are lots FA still out there that can help the team so have a little faith....unless we lose cooper, quinn, and Jones by wednesday lol

LOL maybe your starting to see how the jones boys operate now?
Like I said they have tunnel vision, and dont think team wide at this critical point, so they miss out on some good deals.
And with the contracts, they want things to go their way or they wont get done.
It is all ad lib too, no planning, and they can change on a dime too and do something else lol.
Makes no sense, no logic involved, it is like jerry speak, just some rambling and impulse decisions.
