Sounds great. But what about the 8 road games when the 100 million dollar WR mentally checks out and offense comes to a screeching halt?
They have to wait on the bargain basement free agents because Stephen and Jerry WAY over pay 4-5 players. We are losing good Defensive players to Free Agency right now, and cannot sign top Defensive Free Agents because of this FLAWED Cap Management philosophy!!Cap resources are heavily tilted towards the offense.
And if they are expecting the draft to fix the defensive woes, it's a flawed plan. One, you won't hit on every pick anyway. Two, rookies rarely make impacts.
They need to be more aggressive in FA on defense but like always what they are doing is just sitting on their *** waiting for the leftover bargain crap to sift through. And they wonder why they continually, year after year after year, field teams that have clear holes.
For example, I am sure they'd love to have Chris Harris to replace Jones. But they'll wait and wait and wait hoping no one signs him, and he comes cheap. But they often get burned there. If they want Harris, go get him. Don't wait for him to come to you.
It's the biggest flaw in this whole new age of Stephen's cap management.
No, not championships but it will be entertaining.until we understand we need a good defense, we wont win.
They will.mKe moves for defense. Jones and Quinn just priced themselves too expensive and away. And not worth that much honestly. Theres upgrades to be had for cheaper amountsOur Triplets on offense will be expected to carry the team despite whatever defense we can field.
Jerry and Son have clearly laid out their priority and objective along with hiring an offensive minded HC and retaining our OC.
Im really looking forward to our new coaching taking this team to the next level. What could possibly go wrong now.It was pretty much the best offense in the league, and there would be no doubt about that if not for JG hamstringing it.
exactly..Jerry understands one thing, how to put fannies in the seats and sell merch. That means having a high flying offense, then after that, winning is a happenstance. Until most fans understand that's his mindset, they will be frustrated. His ultimate goal isn't putting together a championship team. Its the glitz and glamour of it all. Glamour sells. He can sell hope year after year, and even if we don't win, he can fall back on his gold jacket. This is Jerrys pickled mind and how it works. No, not championships but it will be entertaining.
The Triplets will sell jerseys attracting fringe fans putting up big numbers to slobber over.
Awesome . Then no worries. Can’t wait to see. They will.mKe moves for defense. Jones and Quinn just priced themselves too expensive and away. And not worth that much honestly. Theres upgrades to be had for cheaper amounts
lol exactly. Jerry likely thinks hey, we hired the top coaches..so we don't need top end players. THATS HOW THEY THINK INDEED.Im really looking forward to our new coaching taking this team to the next level. What could possibly go wrong now.
Never seems to fail...That's been the case for years. They seem to have forgotten the 90s SB teams had a top 10 defense.

This is an exhibit of why Jason Garrett sucks, more than anything.
He has top end players on offense. That’s what the fantasy and fringe fans want to see.lol exactly. Jerry likely thinks hey, we hired the top coaches..so we don't need top end players. THATS HOW THEY THINK INDEED.
He had everything to do with relying on his defense every single week, when the majority of the talent was on offense. No it isn’t. Garret had nothing to do with the way the roster was built and how to spend the resources on it. If JJ is paying too much (or over-valuing) his offense, and not enough for his defense...the fault begins and ends there
