If the price is reasonable, I'd happily sign Jordan Ta'amu or PJ Walker as backup QB options.

Our cupboard is so bare in the backup QB department right now that we thought it was unthinkable to play Cooper Rush when the starter hurt his actual throwing appendages and was demonstrably unable to throw like normal. So we have nowhere to go but up in the backup QB spots, and we shouldn't be turning our nose up at any avenue for improvement.

There is no way to judge Rush at this point. Garrett made sure that he never saw the field. He is an unknown, but to have an negative opinion at this point is unreasonable.

Completely fell apart after week two. Ended up leading the league in picks and got benched.

If any XFL players make your team better, you should still pass on them and just tank for better draft picks.

"If NFL Europe players make your team better, you should pass on them and just tank." - some dude dismissing the idea of signing Kurt Warner in the 90s.

Tossing a blanket over an entire league is about as lazy an evaluation as possible.
