What if they move Pollard to more of a Tavon Austin role and draft Edwards-Helaire to back up Zeke?

Go Cowboys?
I like it, we would probably see more production from that position with Pollard and some pretty talented RBs could fall to round 2.

The kid will be a monster slot receiver.

TO be clear, I don't mean I like him enough to take him at 17. I'd consider him at 51, and would love him in the 3rd.

51?

The rankings I saw had him ranked somewhere around the 28th WR in this years class.

Devin Smith is a much better receiver. He is someone you would take in say the 5th round.

If they teach him how to run routes, maybe he can be a good receiver. But I dont see that happening in THIS offseason.

lol. No. Brugler has him as a 4th. I bet he is gone before then. CBS has him as the 14th wr.

The 4th receiver? After Ruggs?

Who are we talking about here? This is who I am talking about: The 32nd receiver on ***USER-BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1***

https://***USER-BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1***/college/Texas_logo.gif Devin Duvernay, WR, Texas
Height: 5-10. Weight: 202. Arm: 30.38. Hand: 9.
40 Time: 4.39.
Projected Round (2020): 4-6.
4/4/20: Collin Johnson received more attention, but Duvernay was the Longhorns' most steady receiver in 2019. On the year, he had 106 receptions for 1,386 yards and nine touchdowns. Duvernay, however, faces some limitations for the NFL. He has a running back's build and has some tightness athletically to go along with being short while lacking length. Duvernay doesn't know how to run routes, but his straight-line speed is for real and he is tough. Duvernay runs hard and breaks tackles too. Team sources say they see him as being a very late-round pick as a backup wideout and kick returner.

Sports Illustrated has him ranked #19.

No wonder you are so off base.

I had actually given that scenario a brief thought. Pollard in the slot taking over for Cobb, drafting a RB to back up Zeke. I personally would hate it but you never know with this team.

Jalen Hurts played at OU not Alabama.

Technically he played for both. Though I understand your point in school listing, he had more yards passing, rushing, and combined touchdowns at Alabama. So to say he played at "OU not Alabama" isn't really completely accurate.

So glad to see some names on this digital interview list.

I would love if the Cowboys drafted like this:

1st Round: WR Denzel Mims
2nd Round: CB AJ Terrell
3rd Round: DT Raekwon Davis

Those 3 picks would be golden and immediate year 1 contributors to this Cowboys team.

I definitely would not have a problem with this but some may not be happy with a WO with the first pick.

This would work for me too. I’ve screamed it from the rooftops here, Mims is going to end up as the best WR in this draft. He’s T.O. 2.0. an absolute man among boys. And if he ends up going to the Eagles or Packers, I will throw up.

Too bad. They don't understand football or our bigger needs. We currently have a hole at slot WR. Also, Amari has recurring foot problems due to plantar fasciitis, so it's a matter of "when", not "if", he starts missing more playing time. If Amari goes down or misses time, who do we have aside from Gallup? Answer: bunch of scrubs who are career backups. That would seriously hamper our Offense, which is why WR is a must within the 1st round or 2nd at the latest. Anyone who doesn't agree simply doesn't understand what is at stake (or refuses to understand). They can disagree all they want. The truth is we have a major need at WR.

100% agree! You can bet the Eagles (21st pick) and the Packers (28th pick) are hoping Mims drops down to them. They want Mims for a reason. Clearly their GMs are smarter than ours.

Who wouldn't want another T.O. on their team?

That is the same foot problem that D. Sanders had while with us.

Why are we looking at 1st round RBs? If we're planning on moving away from Zeke, then go with Pollard. Makes no sense.

Dude. Check your sources. Jalen FINISHED at OU, but he started at Alabama. smh

Yep. He was the first freshman ever to start for Alabama, and led Bama to the National Championship where they lost to Deshaun Watson and Clemson. Then he led Bama to another National Championship in his sophomore year, but was benched at halftime for Tua. He backed up Tua in his junior year, and transferred to Oklahoma for his senior year.

Yeah more information will likely leak as we get closer

I think it looks something like this right now

Kinlaw
Henderson
Chaisson

Diggs
Murray
Baun
Ruiz

Hopefully somebody in that first group is available. So we don't reach for somebody in group 2

Ruiz might possibly last until the second round, if he somehow falls to 81.

Taking in him the middle of the 1st would be grossly over-drafting him. o_O

"Dude" or "Dude-ette", players are listed by the school where they finished. Do you see any of the JUCO transfers listed by which Junior College the attended...
