Kellerman and the other dude make a clear undebatable and irrefutable case for Jordan Love at #17.

Love is already making throws Dak cannot make in year 4 as a pro.

S.A.S. only defending Dak because he wants him to sign a cap busting contract and keep the Cowboys in mediocrity for the foreseeable future.

No bigger waste of 17 than taking Love there

First thing I look at on college QB that I have not seen play much is the completion percentage stat. Must be at least 60%. He made the cut at a little over 61% career at Utah State. Best as a sophomore at 64%. What my eyes tell me is that he has an NFL arm for sure. Also looks like he needs refinement and not have to play right away. Somebody like Sean Payton probably makes him the best he can be.

A more talented QB that would be cheap for 5 years and could give us massive leverage over Dak in these contract negotiations?

it would definitely be the right move
Its wastes pick for a QB thats not even good enough to go in the top 15. If a QB isnt good enough to go in the 15, then they probably arent worth the pick. Thats how you draft guys like Manziel, Weeden and Losman

If you want to replace Prescott, you arent doing it with the 17th overall pick

Ah yes, let's trade our 5,000 yard, 30-TD, top-5 accuracy, 26 y.o QB, and whatever other player could have been had at 17, for a huge question mark.
Jordan Love has more upside and already has a better arm than Dak.
The video I posted gives all the right reasons to move on from Dak.

Huh?

There are at least 10 starting QBs in the league right now that didnt go top 15 in their respective draft.

Rodgers
Brady
Carr
Wilson
Jimmy G
Brees
Lamar Jackson
Cousins
Bridgewater

Look at the hit rate of first round QB's taken outside top 15. Its not at all pretty. If I need a QB, then I am rebuilding hoping for a miracle in the middle of the first round. The odds are not in my favor
